San Francisco – Summer 2015

Conrad Susa’s Transformations: Not your grandmother’s fairy tales.  Using the brilliant poetry of Anne Sexton, Bay Area composer Conrad Susa takes us on a dangerous, wickedly funny journey  through the works of the Brothers Grimm in this Twentieth Century masterpiece. A group of performers bands together for an evening of twisted stories, where every shadow may contain an imp, and an evil stepmother lurks in every mirror’s reflection . Transformations turns off the nightlight and lifts the veil on how these tales  shape and resonate in our lives.  Summer 2015  a startling production from director Ted Zoldan and musical director Ben Malkevitch, who helmed our critically acclaimed production of Die Zauberflöte.

Our 2015 season
Our third season started with our biggest production yet, a thrilling production of Mozart’s Don Giovanni. After this success, we are very excited to present our upcoming 2015 productions, Giacomo Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi and Conrad Susa’s Transformations.
